Do hermits eat coralline?

My last hermit died a while ago and I was thinking of getting some others - scarlets and blue legs.

But recently I noticed this cool branching coralline algae growing in my tank.

Do you know if hermits would eat this. I think it's really cool and would like to keep it growing, so the last thing I'd want to do is introduce something that would eat it. I know that my emerald crab, who now lives in the sump after attacking fish, would normally grind the coralline right off the rocks.

Thanks.

None of the species we carry, and none that I know of. They should leave it alone. These don't have the cutting power to eat it even if they wanted to. That is a really nice cluster you have sprouting there, somewhat jealous if I am being honest. :)

Thanks. Good to know. That image is pretty magnified, btw. I would say those coralline structures are only about 4mm tall so far. Hopefully they'll continue to grow. Who knows... If it grows well enough, I might even be able to buy some hermits with some of it. ;)
