Okay this thing is too pretty!! Would this or your Cranberry Short-Tentacle Goni be good first Gonis? I'm strongly eyeing a few Zoa frags and wondering if either Goni would be suitable to add to the order.

We've been propagating the cranberry for some time now. Gonioporas are easy to care for as long as you feed them coral food, such as GonioPower (http://www.marinedepot.com/Two_Little_Fishies_Goniopower_Advanced_Zooplankton_Diet_Phytoplankton-Two_Little_Fishies-TL50053-FIFDDRPP-vi.html). They're not as intimidating as most people think. They only have a bad reputation because they have a feeding requirement. Just feed them the same time you fish your fish. The other corals in your tank will eat the food too. :)

I wound up getting the Cranberry and the Green and Pink.. too hard to choose lol. I've been feeding my Acans Reef Chili in preparation for the "must-feed" corals so I am ready, good to know they'll definitely need to be fed.

Where does each type like to be for lighting (once acclimated), if you don't mind me asking? I've read the pink/red Gonis seem to prefer higher light but I've seen people report happy Gonis at all heights so I figure I should inquire about these specific two types' preferences haha. Excited to get them in Thursday!
