So what's happened since January....  a fair bit I guess. New fish, altered scape, new equipment, new corals... I'll bust out the old "good" camera and try to take some decent pictures to sum all this up. I do really need a new good camera as our D90 is a bit dated by today's standards. For now I'll leave you with a cheesy iPhone side profile shot... enjoy. More to come.

Thanks... yeah very much chugging along. I'm putting a lot into it right now as I have the time and will hopefully start seeing some big gains shortly.

In recent days I started running some Aquaforest products in the tank. Hopefully they will bring some much needed colour to my SPS and help with future growth. I do a drop of each every other day and dose two at a time. Amino Mix and Vitality is dosed one night and Build and Energy dosed the following night.

 

I also recently upgraded my return pump. I was running a Jebao DCT 3000 which maxed out at 790GPH and switched to the Current USA eFlux DC 1900GPH model. It was the best bang for the buck that I could fit into my return chamber. WAY more flow and it works great it super quiet but I do miss a feed mode setting. 

 

I'll try to get some pictures of the display up shortly.

Seriatopora. Doing okay... struggled for a while but has been bouncing back with some decent colour lately.

Hey Christopher, doing good thanks. I really havent had the time to keep my thread updated but it's always on my mind. The tank is still running and I'm still tinkering, I'll try to post some pictures shortly.

This reef game is tough stuff... parameters are always changing but I'm in it for the long haul. Really working hard these days to maintain stable ALK and Salinity levels. Here is the latest FTS.
