I'm familiar with the mount but just wondered if it would fit over the rim without removing part of said rim. Just getting back into the hobby after about 8 months of moving around the country and finally settling down. Again, thanks Link to comment

The foot on them is actually pretty wide, I assume they made them that way to fit over a standard rimmed tank.. I think the one I had showed about a 1' clearance on a rimless tank. StellaBlue may be able to confirm, she had one as well. Link to comment
