DrPete
Hey everyone. I have a fluval spec III pico and am obviously very mindful of bioload in a 2g (of water) tank. I purchased 2 feather dusters on Saturday to occupy a dark spot in my tank since they arent photosynthetic and look rather interesting IMO. The worm seems to not have liked the spot I put him in and has left his tube. He retained his crown and seems to be hiding but doing ok otherwise. My question is whether or not I should remove the old tube. Will a decaying feather duster tube cause an ammonia spike? I've also read stories of the worm finding their way back to the tube so I don't want to assist in his homelessness. Also, while were at it, when my cleaner shrimp molts, should I remove the exoskeleton from the tank? FYI my calcium sits at 600 so I dont need any additional CA. Curious to hear your thoughts.
