reefertom
Hey guys,Established my first foray into marine tanks exactly a week ago. Set-up is a Fluval M40 with approx 7kg of live rock. Just wondering people's opinions and any improvements that I could make. Thanks,Tom Link to comment

Pinner Reef
I'm overly critical, but that top right rock doesn't look exactly natural, or very stable. As long as you like it though, that's all that matters Link to comment
Rural
different strokes diff folks.... your scape should reflect your planned stocking and coral placement in my opinion. I like the hole flow through. and the sand bed for a garden. Link to comment
reefertom
Thanks for the comments - I agree, it doesn't look overly natural but i do like it With regards to stability, although it doesn't look it from the pictures, that top piece is anchored tightly in between two others and laterally stabilised by a rock out of shot so hopefully it should be OK Link to comment
IronChefItaly
I'm pretty picky with scapes and I think this one looks great. Its set up well for water flow, coral placement and has a good profile. If you want to make the top portion look a little more natural I would get a few pieces of rubble rock and make the bearing point in the bottom right a little more seamless. Other than that, I think you're off to a great start. Link to comment
