So I decided to put together another tank. I couldn’t figure out what was the right forum for this one, so I decided to post here.

This is 8 gallon cheap class tank that I bought from Estonia for 19 euros. I made build in refugium from white plexi class. Refugium has two champers: one whit coral stone crumbs and the second one host the circulation pump and heater. I’m hoping to use biological filtration as the water flows through stone crumbs. I’m also looking for some plants/algae to but in my refugium so any advices are welcome.

I’m pretty satisfied whit this project, even though it didn’t turn out as planned. Well at least it works. The falling water makes pretty bad noise so I made temporary muffler from some filtering sponge, otherwise it doesn’t have any tactical meaning what so ever. I think I need to find some other way for reducing water falling noise.

So the next step is to get some rock from the another thank and start cycling.

I'm planning to stock this nano whit some easy zoas, mushrooms and other softies.
