aaron186
Currently working on getting my 10g nano upgraded to 40 gal breeder with sump. I purchased the expensive purple live rock and a few pieces of the painted life rock for my 10 gal. There is about 12lbs of rock in my 10 gal I really don't want to spend the 8-10 per lb cost of the live rock/life rock if I'm going to be adding 20-30lbs of it. My options are to add white dry lace rock from my lfs ($3 lb) which won't match, or to purchase a 11lb box of walt smith project reef from BRS for 60 bucks ($5.5 lb) and only have about 22lbs of rock in my tank. Will that be enough rock? Will it look crappy if half my rocks are purplish and the others are white? Also should i keep this structure (see below) and just add another rock island (or two?) or should i mix it up and make it something entirely different? Link to comment
Tamberav
Coralline will eventually cover the dry rock. Really just depends if you mind waiting or not. Link to comment
