haggus75
Hi, I have a Current Orbit Marine LED fixture on my 25gallons tank... And was wondering if someone has an idea how to mod it (or add something to complement it) to add a more light power to it. Or should is it easier to try to sell it and then buy something else. I did some research on Google and didn't find any information about this... thank you, Martin Link to comment
smeagol108
I don't know of any mods other than doubling up and getting a second. Or using accent strips like the ecoxotic strip. Link to comment
holy carp
you could affix a stunner strip to the black frame on the bottom. The light fixture itself is actually somewhat waterproof (I've accidentally tested that...), so I'm not sure it would be easy or even feasible to open it up. Also, it gets relatively warm since it's passively cooled, so I'm not sure how well it could handle brighter/hotter LED's if you did crack it open. Link to comment
Newstead
Sounds like I am not the only one to tip their Current Orbit in the tank! I have one on my 10 gal former QT and it has taken a few dips ... have to say, I am impressed with how waterproof it is! Link to comment
