SandyEggan
Sorry if this has been asked my search yielded nothing. I am planning out my first nano, a 12x24 rimless with no sump and likely 4x t5. My question is regarding next July, my apartment gets super hot with only a portable ac that I don't like to run all day when I'm gone due to electricity costs. I wouldn't be surprised if my apt started pushing 90 F during the worst of it but I would say generally in the 80s somewhere. I want to run sumpless and am wondering if there are any reasonably priced chillers under a couple hundred bucks or so that I could drop in the back of the tank that won't look too bad. Thanks. rturiak
You might be okay without a chiller, temp swings into the low 80s is okay in my experience, and should not affect anything too negatively. just putting a fan blowing at the tank can make a lot of difference in a hot room in the heat of summer Link to comment
