BC_Reef_M
Hi there, any idea on these and got another hitchhiker that we couldn't get but looked like a Glass Anemone. The rock got a little vinegar water squirt followed by a nice shower of boiling water. Worm is about 5 inches long when spread out and skinny. Any ideas on the worm and star? I'll keep them alive for the time being. Link to comment
Weetabix7
Asterina star. Not horrid, not great, toss him. That worm is interesting! I probably wouldn't keep it either but feel free to wait til someone else chimes in with an answer. Link to comment
Elizabeth94
Just be careful boiling live rock.. Boil it outside. I read something where a person boiled live rock and something in it gave him major respiratory problems. I would just toss all those critters. I always pick off any starfish even if they are harmless, you never know. That worm is a strange color, not sure what he is Link to comment

So yeah not a good idea :-p. If your trying to get rid of hitchikers you can do a freshwater dip of the live rock. Most of the critters should come scurrying out. Link to comment

Muraki
Sweet looking worm. Have you tried feeding him anything meaty to see if he would take it? Link to comment

BC_Reef_M
Do a search for Oenone fulgida. That's him! Sweet looking worm. Have you tried feeding him anything meaty to see if he would take it? He ate the other worm in there and the water was full of his toxin kinda liquid. In the end we sacrificed him to the porcelain god. Been keeping an eye on the tank and think we are in the clear for now... Link to comment
