It looks and swims like a possum wrasse but the pattern is different.

Need a better picture. Looks like some type of pygmy or possum but hard to see the colors and fin shape in that picture. Any info on it? Common name, where it's from in the world, price, size?

I'll try to take a better picture. Got it from a collector here in Cebu, Philippines. Size is about an inch.

My guess is juvenile form of something... that has a different color pattern from the adult.

The anal fin looks like it is shaped differently and the nose looks a little short compared to my wetmorella but hard to say from that pic

Oh dang...there are a lot of wrasses in that area, lol. Being so small it could just be young and not showing adult colors/patterns.

Pretty sure it's something from the Pteragogus group, depends on where it was actually collected from. Whatever it is, it's cute and I want one, lol.

Possibly one of these:

Sneaky (guttatus) - This is my guess based on the pictures you have. The eye shape and face structure along with the color and pattern are what sell me on it.

Cockerel's (enneacanthus)
