Moving tank to replace countertop . Ideas?

How would you guys go about doing this?

I thought about emptying as much water as possible and sliding tank onto same height adjustable platform but my rocks are epoxied and wouldn't wanna take the whole thing out...I just hope I'm not being stupid about it and crack the glass somehow.

This is a 17G tank.

The finish on top of this thing is durable but is starting to crack if somehow saltwater is not wiped off right away...Replacing with a 1" thick glass top.

So any advice in this direction?

Never moved a saltwater tank that large, but I moved a Fluval Spec V that was still 100% full. And a freshwater 20 long that had about 5 gallons remaining in it.

If you wish to attempt it, I would drain as much water out of the tank as possible and remove any rock that you can into a 5 gallon bucket or Brute. Just have to get as much weight off of that bottom glass before attempting the move. I have carefully picked up tanks after doing such and placed them on boards to allow more people to then help move the tank around. But I do not think this will work well with a rimless tank. If this tank has a rim, I think it can handle it.

Pictures of tank and the situation?
