bashment
Hello everyone! Looking for some help as I am still new to the hobby. I recently picked up an IM Nuvo Fusion 20 gal with a 120W-16000k Maxspect Razor R420R. I see a lot of different information as far as watts/gallon, PAR, etc etc. I am looking to stock my tank mainly with softies and LPS, with SPS in the future. What do you suggest would be an optimal timing schedule and intensity to set the white and blue bulbs initially? What's the best way to ramp up? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Link to comment

heifinator
Here is my piece of advice. It is much easier and quick to kill a coral with too much light. Too little light will cause a slower death and be easier to see. My recommendation is error on the low side. Not sure if you have access to a PAR meter but if you do that is wildly helpful. Your best bet is hunt for tanks that have maxspect on them and have good results, contact the tank owner and kindly ask what his is set too! Good luck! Link to comment
