frankdontsurf
What's up everyone? I just acquired a wooden 10 gallon stand. The space inside is 11.5" x9" x22". My goal is to make a sump for my 10g display. I didn't see any plastic containers at Walmart or online that are within the 11.5x9 that are tall enough to make use of. I was thinking I may need to build it out of glass or acrylic if I want anything with divisions..which I do for my ATO sensor, heaters, and possibly a nano skimmer in the future..but I'm not trying to spend a fortune. I'm thinking 12 inches tall, 3 divisions? Link to comment
HarryPotter
Honestly I would see if you can get a cheap stand that can fit a 10g sump in it. More water= more stability and better filtration. Link to comment
Marc.The.Shark
Check out the sump for my 8 gal Cylinder Tank in my sig. I used a 10x10x10 cube from ebay. I realize that won't work with your dimensions, but maybe you can get ideas on dividing yours. I used a Trigger Systems cube as my inspiration & it works well with 2 chambers in the back & fuge across the front. Also,,Harry makes a good point using a standard tank, plus I think he has a free one he's giving away? Harry? Link to comment

frankdontsurf
Awesome thanks guys. I wanted to use a 10 gallon as the sump but this stand doesn't allow that. This was 30 bucks on OfferUp and it matches my living room which makes the wife happy. May just have to build it myself out of acrylic, think it will be more than 100 for acrylic and epoxy?
