Orangutran Posted November 19, 2015 Share Posted November 19, 2015 Ok I'll take a stab at this… I think you need to create a few smaller structures (islands), and make it more random (organized chaos).. The current scape makes the 65g look small. You may have to drill and use rods on a tall tank, the rods do not have to go all the way thru, just deep enough to hold 2 rocks in place. Also better to have some separation (islands) in the rocks so certain fish can establish territories more easily, and more interesting to swim around. Those are nice pieces of rock you have, so it's a good start! Link to comment

If you want to keep what you have going (wall base) then to improve it I'd suggest mirroring the rock scape so the short leg of the "L" shape is on the right side of the aquarium. That way you'll sort of be maximizing your space with the layout of the overflow box. Then I'd put a smalI island in the front left to fill the negative space left over. Link to comment
