BulkRate Posted November 4, 2015 Share Posted November 4, 2015 Depends how deep the tank - - the non-pro marine version lacks optics & has lower-power emitters so anything placed deeper than 9-12" will need to be pretty tolerant of lower light levels. On shallow tanks though, they're nicely styled, effective & affordable for what you get. The newer pro model may not have this issue, but at that price point (around $250 for the 18" model & up from there) there may be better options. Link to comment
