JavaJacketOC
Is there a way to enable a chat box on the website or to use it for questions so the line doesn't get overloaded like last time? I saw there was a comments option but not sure if that would work. Link to comment

I saw there was a comments option but not sure if that would work. I don't think that it supports that - the comments are there but when kat and I are in the back end, I don't think the comments show up. I don't think the line was overloaded, we think it was the site itself was just experiencing too much load overall (9-10PM is prime time for them). The podcast with Dave didn't have that problem, though, so theoretically this one should go smooth (fingers crossed lol) Link to comment

SUPER simple. $20 a month. Then point the feed to a free site you create. Link to comment

The service I use is a premium account, but there can be technical issues as we experienced last time, with any site. There are some changes coming in the next several weeks. Stay tuned and listen in on Thursday. Link to comment

Even without a time constraint I wouldn't even know where to begin with getting something put together where you could not only broadcast live over the internet (that's the easy part) but being able to listen by phone and also patch through calls to take questions. We have some good alternatives we are looking into and testing out soon, this is still in its infancy, so we have our growing pains to work through Link to comment

Pinner Reef
Found that thread: http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/350132-biggest-lfs-blunder/ Frank was easily the worst fish I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Good thing that fish was never in my aquarium; as such, I can't call in. Just wouldn't be in tune with the podcast topic. Also he was FW. Link to comment

Thanks Braaap, we need a podcasting services, not a hosting site. Podcasting service allows live streaming or pre-recorded episodes, real time call screening, co-hosting, syndication to iTunes and Stitcher, RSS feeds, social media marketing and much more. It comes with hosting built in as well. I've looked into several hosting sites for a couple of months now, which are podcast specific so re-broadcasting and storage will be managed rather well. Live podcasting services are what we are looking into after the recent technical issues we had. Thanks for your suggestions tho.
