reas86
Hello Recently started a 133 litre British Marine Tank. I am based in Devon. There was an opportunity to save a Juwel Rio 400 from a skip, always wanted a 450 litre tank and now that has become a reality. It was hard work collection all the water and transporting it home. My current setup is; 450 litre Juwel Rio DSUNY Led lighting with controller. Simulates sun rise/set, cloud and phases of the moon. Hydor Professional 600 external canister filter 2 x Jebao wavemakers Internal filter with UV LED Waiting for my protein skimmer Dead rock and coral sand Local rock with algae and seaweed 4 Snakelocks anemones, one of which recently divided into 2, so now have 5. 2 Strawberry Anemones Fans Oyster Number of shrimp Hermit crabs A small starfish Corkwing Wrasse 8 Mullet Several Blennies (Shannies) 1 Rock Goby Cycled tank with Dr Tims one and only, imported from USA. Also use marine bacteria balls I feed a mixture of raw prawns, especially for the hermits and anemones, nori seaweed, small amount of flake, dried krill and I have recently started breeding Brine Shrimp and copepods,as they were very popular along with Mysis and Copepods. My tank temperature maintains between 20 - 25 celcius during the summer. Link to comment

Mirya
Following! I love biotope tanks. A British coldwater tank is pretty exotic to this Yankee, so I'm eager to see how it develops. Link to comment
AquaticEngineer
Love it! I kept a nano for quite a while with all British species here in the states. I will be immensely jealous if you find those shrimp Keep an eye out for the Cornish lumpsuckers (clingfish) they are amazing in captivity, when they aren't hiding Link to comment
