spinycheek
Saw this a while back, I thought this was fascinating! It's a one way valve with no moving parts designed by the master himself. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYlP5TEKf2w Link to comment
Pinner Reef
I sooo thought he was about to demonstrate that by snorting a bunch of coke. Pretty interesting. Link to comment
disaster999
Cool idea? Sure. Practical? Not really. This the valve ACTS like an one way valve, but not entirely an one way valve. Air/water will still eventually make it through the valve, although at a much lower pressure and flow rate. Also, its a huge restriction on the system itself to allow any type of usable flow through it. its a cool concept non the less, but I dont see it replacing traditional valves. Link to comment
spinycheek
I'd like to see it with a non-bubbly fluid, I think that air which is compressible would have a much different behavior than water. I understand the applications are limited, but the concept is cool, maybe there could be some different designs using the same principle. Link to comment
