tk-it-ez
Do we have a vendor page for autotopoff.Com on this site. Looking to buy float switch for my nano. Link to comment
ajmckay
they have a website where you can buy a float switch - but no I'm not aware of a vendor page. Link to comment
ReefSafeSolutions
Not sure if this is the same switch as used in the system you have, but I built my own ATO with these switches: http://www.amazon.com/Pieces-ZP4510-Liquid-Vertical-Switches/dp/B00FHAEBIA/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1443191173&sr=8-3&keywords=float+switch If the ATO system autotopoff.com provides uses a relay, these switches would probably work. EDIT: just looked at their website. They sell switches here: http://autotopoff.com/Floatswitches/ But they look to be the same (well, slight variations, but same operation) as the switches in the first link. Link to comment

Hey I just ordered those same switches!!! They're not too bad - probably very close to what the autotopoff.com as I've ordered switches from a few different sources in the past and they all seem to be quite similar. Link to comment
ReefSafeSolutions
I had one go bad on me because the saltwater ate through the waterproofing and corroded the leads, so we went to home depot and found some tubing that fit tightly over the shaft where the leads come out of...cut the tubing long enough so it sticks out of the water, and you can prevent any corrosion from the saltwater! HarryPotter
Thanks guys. I ordered float switches on their website. Planning to use one switch as a fail safe with my tunze nano osmolator. Good idea- the 1 sensor sounded worrisome to me as well, so I ended up getting the full to get the float switch Link to comment
tk-it-ez
Hey Harry, the full one is good but it was double the cost. So this is an inexpensive peace of mind modification. Link to comment

In my case I don't have a controller, so it was cheaper to get the full Osmulator than get an apex with a break out box Link to comment
