This morning before leaving I did one last walk through the main coral area and admired that encrusting red with yellow polyps piece you showed us. So cool looking. I almost bought one . I should have bought a favia..those colors were perfect! But when I was there it had it's long attack tentacles out which swayed my decision. With the new tank I could have probably found a good spot for it though. Oh well...I'll just enjoy yours . Bummer about the blasto . Maybe it will still turn up! Quote Link to comment

Idk where it went, and I dug through the sand and still couldn't find it I use it in the smaller tanks since it is easier to use the soft frozen for small portions. So I use the mini mysis, the reef caviar and the micro plankton! It makes it so easy to use. And I'm sorry about your blasto It must be some blasto thing going around. How are you liking the PE pellets by the way? I'm also going to be doing an independent project in my lab involving corals reefs in Hawai'i and algae, so I'm pretty excited for that. The tank overall is kinda "meh". Monti and Purple Deaths haven't been too happy and have lost much of their color. Probably because I was barely touching the tank.
