smiz
could you make light racks like this https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8185/8080225896_d5bebc8e16_b.jpg With the right dimensions I don't see why it would be a issue. Are you unable to buy this from ADA? Quote Link to comment
Rehype
With the right dimensions I don't see why it would be a issue. Are you unable to buy this from ADA? I don't think ADA sells the stands separately.. additionally I think a lot of reefers would like custom sizes to accommodate their own LED fixtures. 1 Quote Link to comment

Ah I see that now, they only offer 2 sizes. My main concern would be warping of the acrylic, but they seem to be using the same thickness as me. Interesting.... Quote Link to comment

holy carp
These are really sharp looking. I currently have an eggcrate cover I made, and my Randall's Goby just jumped through it last week, so I'm trying to find a better option. Darn fish just love my hardwood floors to death... Interested in what the price would be for a Mr. Aqua 12g long - I think it's 35.4"x8.3" How are these lids supported on the top? Notches to sit flush on top of the glass, or only brackets to set inside? I'm using a Current USA sitting across the top, so ideally, a way to access for feeding while leaving the light in place would be ideal. 1 Quote Link to comment
Fnard
36x24 black acrylic. size doable? Quote Link to comment

As for how they sit, I am looking into getting my own clips made currently. But for now people with rimless tanks have been buying the acrylic aquarium tank clips. 36x24 black acrylic. size doable? So the dimensions you would need are the inside dimensions and the lid will sit inside the rim not on top of it? Quote Link to comment
smiz
So the dimensions you would need are the inside dimensions and the lid will sit inside the rim not on top of it? Correct, that is how everyone has been doing it so far with rimless. They are buying the tank clips that suspend your lid on the inside of the tank. We are working now to offer our own clips which will be a lot easier. If your not interested in doing it that way we could also make tabs that would rest on the top of the tank and hold it there.
