sangheili Posted August 19, 2015 Author Share Posted August 19, 2015 The original floor layout (which has mostly been followed) is pictured below. The two long tanks are our fiberglass raceway tanks. They measure 190" x 39" x 12". The sumps are white poly "totes" and hold about 100g each when full. Each of the two main raceway systems is roughly 400g of real water volume. 1 Quote Link to comment

sangheili Posted August 22, 2015 Author Share Posted August 22, 2015 May 11th - Fuge and Sump tanks placed and skimmer arrived. May 13th - Stand for Quarantine System finished and ready for paint. Work benches added. May 18th - I wanted a framework to be able to hang lights from easily so I went with unistrut. By spanning the large door underneath with strut I was able to retain the ability to open it. This was probably the most laborious of the entire project as driving all of the anchors into the ceiling, cutting, painting, and hanging the strut took a huge amount of time and sweat. 2 Quote Link to comment
