dferrari13
The clips from the original lid was causing a siphone which caused a salt creep which eventually ending up causing the tank to leak from the clips. Which I almost didn't believe at first...until I saw another person post a video of it....thats when i started searching for a lid that doesnt use these clips. So with this lid....those clips are gone! 1 Quote Link to comment
dferrari13
Also I have rotated the lid around so that the feeding door is in the rear....cause the door was blocking my light a little Quote Link to comment

I use the Kessil controller.. so my light ramps up over the course of 10 hours during the day....this is my lighting schedule 14:00 5% color 5% intensity 15:00 30% color 25% intensity 16:00 45% color 50% intensity 18:00 45% color 50% intensity 21:00 35% color 25% intensity 23:30 0% color 0% intensity Since my tank isn't very deep and I have the light approx 6inches from the water surface, my light never goes above 50% intensity.
