dferrari13
Meaning that it's easier to control now. Before I was just using a timer, which I'm glad I'm not anymore! Schedule: Color :time on 08am-4pm(with dawn effect of 180 minutes), then 4-6pm dusk effect (also 180 minutes), with color from 0-40% then back 40%-0%. Intensity :goes from 10-25% for 120 minutes, 8am-4pm, then from 4pm-6pm ramp down from 25%-10%. Looks good! Thanks....just realized that the tank is officially one year old....hopefully it starts to fill in alot more this year.....currently running filter floss/purgen/phosGuard/chemi-pure blue nano...and the water is crystal clear and clean 1 Quote Link to comment

Balix
How much of the red sea energy are you dosing. I did o.5 ml and the next day or so my tank was lightly brown on the glass. I've reduced to 0.2 ml once or twice a week and alternating with selcon. Quote Link to comment

dferrari13
FTS 6/6/16 I would like everyone's opinion which coral should I put on the top left of my live rock.... im looking for something that has a bit of height to it..and one that easy to maintain and not an SPS ( they don't seem to do well in my tank) 1 Quote Link to comment
dferrari13
Unfortunately I lost the clam. He got knocked over somehow and I found him in the morning on his side with the hermit crabs feasting on his byssal threads...also the monti didn't do well and for some reason my duncan also...I got a small Cyano bacteria problem that I'm clearing up.....but besides all of that....the tank is doing very well and growing fast after 3 weeks of red sea reef energy A & B.....and all my water parameters are very close to perfect Quote Link to comment
