FAC_WNY Posted July 28, 2004 Share Posted July 28, 2004 Too much light really isn't an issue (unless you were to strap 4 or 5 400w MH's over the 10..and then you'd be boiling the water..lol). Marinedepot.com is a good place for metal halides..I don't know about PC's. I'd go with a 150w halide over the 10gal. For the few extra dollars you get much better lighting..there's a thread on here for a 150 w halide for about $110 if you feel like DIYing it.
