kluker589
The snowflake they had there looked lame. Didn't even look like a snowflake and had nipped fins for $60.00 no thank you. They are having some more come on Wednesday. Update u guys then. Link to comment
righttirefire
Good choice. I like my fish to look perfect Link to comment
kluker589
This is my first tank but I want some unique peices of coral. I want abnormal clown fish though. I refuse to buy normal clowns unless I have to. If they don't get snowflakes in or something simmiler. I will get a pair of black and white clowns.they had a maroon pair there but I only have a 15 gallon, so that would not work out. Link to comment
righttirefire
I'm thinking only 1 clown in my 20 gallon. Personally I don't like "designer" clowns. But whatever makes you happy Link to comment
kluker589
I think the "designer" clowns add a different feel to the hobby. I do not like the overly busy designer colorations. But I do respect snowflakes just because they are not crazy white. One of my favorite clown must be the Ora naked clown but it's just what I like. Also what is your setup for you 20 gallon? kluker589
Any tips in the hobby? What do you feed your tank/ dose? Link to comment
righttirefire
Well... seeing your tank. Has it actually cycled yet? I feed "fish crack" it's an unnamed flake food "locally" made that all the LFS sell. I target feed my anemone, acans, and hammer coral mysis and krill. I also broadcast reef roid occasionally. I feed every other day 1 and a half flakes crushed between my fingers and let it flow through my tank. Link to comment
kluker589
Everyone asks me if my tank has cycled. Yes it has and has been for almost 2 weeks. My iPhone 5s camera sucks. I just had a large diatom bloom so I still got some more cuc today. And I got that frog spawn in the middle that looks killer!!! Link to comment
righttirefire
My apologies. I had to zoom in to see the corals. It just looks clean... new. It's a compliment. And I made the mistake I think everyone has... rushed their tank and cycle. Overstocked... RESEARCH and PATIENCE I think is key, In this hobby and life. Find someone or multiple people and tanks, follow them. Ask them questions Link to comment
kluker589
My tank over stocked? I waited to add anything for 4 weeks. Link to comment
righttirefire
You're definitely not overstocked. It's just what I've seen around here and I've done it myself. Link to comment

Boy is it nice to be able to drive to the fish store! Your tank is great- it's obvious you did your research and are prepared for it Link to comment
