Can I enter a planted tank?

Went away for a week, and came home to this...

I live way too far for shipping live animals, so don't vote for my tank ;)

I call it "da grouch".

A ####ing Vortech attached to a brute trash can. Now I have seen it all.

Makes me want to vomit

Stevie hasn't sent me any wet water and I still need my rock from John!

Fine I shows my ugly tank. It's coming down soon b/c moving but it's still ugly.

Doesn't look too bad right? This was after pulling out about three cups of hair algae. My water params are surprisingly good though so the fish are healthy.

Also a close-up reveals:

I think when I killed the first one it spored and then things snowballed from there. :( Those are the mid size ones.

Like I said a clean up crew won't fix this. ;)

yours really isn't that ugly, actually I'm kinda envious of that worm colony in the sediments lol.

Yeah those worms. Not sure why but they always grow huge in my tanks.

That's after cleaning. >.> The aiptasia have gotten so bad they're in the hair algae.

Berghia is the natural killer of aiptasia, if you want to get rid of hundreds that's the most efficient way to go.

I personally like aiptasia, I find them fascinating.

I rather like aiptasia myself when it's not forcing me to evacuate all my coral to another tank. Large specimens are particularly fascinating.

Sometimes with the big ones I try to see how big of things they will eat, the biggest so far was a cricket, or a part of nightcrawler lol.

Nice to see algae bringing together different peoples from all around the world. :)

Just a few days left to enter! Leave those lights on! ;)
