Is the only way to ship packages priority these days? I can't find the good old plain shipping 8-10 days

Lol no theres plenty of cheap shipping options, just go to a local UPS. Ground is 6-10, and pretty cheap. I shipped (large) home depot boxes (2x2x2) to my sisters college up north for under $15 each I believe

Oooooof not sure. This was Miami to Boston, so pretty damn far. I don't know about cross-country shipping, sorry

Parcel Post at USPS. Super cheap and usually take 8 days. UPS ground and FedEx ground are as much as Priority typically for the same size box.

*edit*

Turns out they stopped international parcel post a few years ago. They also call it Standard Post now. Looks like UPS and FedEx ground are your international shipping options that aren't USPS. I just refuse to ship to Canada unless they pay 100% of the bill.
