3gEclipseGuy
Last night I was taking some pictures and noticed that my blue leg hermit was out it's shell but not moving. I thought crap! it died and something is eating it. So I took out the "hermit crab" and shell. Then I saw "another" hermit crab poke out of the shell and scare the crap out of me. I thought it might have been my scarlet hermit taking over the blue hermit's shell but then I saw that my scarlet was still in the tank. So, I guess they do need to molt? The discarded molting seemed to be a full hermit crab. It didn't seem just like skin. But it was a cool experience. Link to comment
