Saul 1
Hey guys and girls, just wanted to show my new tiny, nickel sized, RBTA. Dont know when it was born but it did not split from the mother. Instead, a small fraction of the large anemone's (Mom) foot split and gave this lilttle guy. Hes not fully developed as you can see and is still growing its tentacles. Since I'm new at this RBTA stuff I wanted to ask if the anemone will be ok in the floating plastic container? It does allow light to go through and current. Its one of those breeder acrylic containers. Or should get a rock so it can attach? -Saul Link to comment
xcajx
thats really cool. if you are concerned, why not just put a piece of rock in there with it and see what it decides. Link to comment
trmiv
I'd stick a rock in there, and see what it does. But once you put it back in the tank, it's going to move until it finds it's place anyway. Link to comment
TiGs
Don't forget to anemone proof your tank. Link to comment
AReeferIsExpensive
id put a rock in the container......just b/c intakes = death for that little guy Link to comment
Saul 1
Thanks for the advice people. I am going to try and find a small rock so it can hopefully attach. Then when its mouth and tentacles are developed I'll start feeding it so it can grow faster. -Saul Link to comment
