Cencalfishguy56
Well..its been a long time..ahaha. Tonight I thought I would share a cell phone pic. Looking to add more pictures soon, now that i've gotten so more time. Its been crazy busy lately, and my threenager, lol. Tonight I added a t5 to the back side of my tank for some accent lighting and to fill some shadows in for the kessil. Just wondering how long I should actually run the t5, all day? peak time? your input would be greatly appreciated. need an update! My tank was inspired by yours haha 1 Quote Link to comment

Roachant
Very nice! I am in the process of setting up a 20 gallon high, and I am having some serious thoughts about doing a rimless on a standard tank. Everything looks awesome so far! 1 Quote Link to comment
jtgrimes
Hi All! Been awhile since I've been on here. Been really busy with my job, trips and new family additions. But wanted to start back up doing updates on my 20L. A lot has changed over the year with the amount of growth etc. I have added a frag rack in the back for sps and various coral I frag for the fish store and other hobbyists. I am getting in a Kessil H80 in today for my sump. Going to try this little guy out as I've heard great things from others and reviews when it comes to Chaeto etc. Here is an updated pic of my tank with my phone, but plan to take better ones with the DSLR. Until next time! 1 Quote Link to comment

Culprit
Beautiful reef! I am thinking about derimming my 20 long reef, so if you don't mind I'dlike to ask a few questions. Its been up for about 3 years? Any leakage? Did you euro brace all four sides, and how thick and wide of eurobracing did you use? 1 Quote Link to comment

I will measure when I get home to make sure. 1 Quote Link to comment

Culprit
I love your Duncan, its huge! Your Pocillipora (I think that's what it is?) Is massive, huge colony. I love your tank! 1 Quote Link to comment
jtgrimes
Updated the tank with a couple of enhancements. Attached a tablet for a monitor/Apex. Trying out the innovative marine reservoir and loving it. Switched it out for a 5 gallon bucket I had. Thought I should make it look better with it being on the outside of the tank stand. 1 Quote Link to comment
jtgrimes
Hello! Hello! Hope everyone is doing well. Man, it's been a long time since I last posted about the 20. I will be posting some new photos this week, new equipment I've been running and more. Have seen a lot of growth over the year, and really getting back into posting. Also, in the process of possibly upgrading to a 120 gallon. For a pic I have on hand, from the size of my thumbnail from when I first started the tank up, to now bigger than the size of my hand, top-down of my toadstool. Quote Link to comment
jtgrimes
Have had some really great growth and added a few things since my last update. Took my h80 offline and sold it. Wasn't getting the growth as expected with chaeto. Ended up getting rid of my chaeto, took gfo offline and bought a Santa Monica algae scrubber and have been running now for about 5 months with great results! Also added some marine pure balls and block. A Neptune AFS that is feeding twice a day, once in the morning and at night. Feeding reef roids on Fridays and Mondays. Other than that it's been running really well. Been trying to talk the wife into a 120 which she's down for, which most of the equipment will be going over to that once ready to, and all other needed material I'll need to get. 1 Quote Link to comment

Currently running two Kessil 360 and one ATI Coral Plus and one ATI Blue Plus. I can also add two more if need be. Kessils run 13 hours, the t5s +Kessil 7 hours. Quote Link to comment
jtgrimes
Some phone shots of the new tank 110 Gallon Rimless. Equipment coming in for the 110. After bleaching for over a week and rinsing the rock I got, I started the cycle process with Dr. Tims Ammonia and MB7. Cycled a total of about 12 days. Testing, testing and more testing. Once all was cycled, I did another dose of ammonia to see if the tank was ready, and cleared within a day. So performed a 40 gallon water change, and moved all electronics over and livestock this past Saturday. More pics to come of the electronic cabinet and as you can see in the above pic to the side, and sump shot ill take tonight. Now my focus is growing what I have out, but looking for more cool sps/acro to add, of course some more fish as well..just debating on what to get. 1 Quote Link to comment
