What do your lights now consist of ? But yes a par bulb is always a good option for a small tank like that.

Each tank has 3 warm blue and 3 warm whites. They are 3w led's running at 2w, for 12w total, they were made locally for $35 each. They were my first venture into lighting for growing corals in my smaller tanks. I have some zoas, mushrooms, and a rose bta in one tank, no corals in the other yet. Looking to upgrade both lights and not break the bank at the same time.

If you would've went with Royal Blues instead of cool blues, you'd probably be happy with the colors and should've gotten good growth.

Par bulbs are always a good and cheap upgrade though.

Growth is pretty slow with the lights I have, that's the main reason for the upgrade. I actually like the color better than the marine land lighting I currently have on my 25g cube. I may pull the trigger soon on this one, wife won't be very happy, but as they say "Its easier to be forgiven than get permission."

If I win the contest they just started and turn my diy lights into ones for small frag tank I wanna start.
