ps2cho
I have the Red Sea and Salifert kits and neither I feel are very accurate to get a precise number. Its impossible to tell 8ppm from 18ppm... Is the only other option to go with a Hanna Checker? Link to comment

ps2cho
im tagging along with this every test i use shows different The rest of my test kits aren't bad and are readable within a margin of error. Po4: I've been very happy with the Red Sea Phosphate kit. I find its easy to tell the difference between 0.04 and 0.16 which is within an error of margin anyway. Have tried both Salifert and RS.. Alk: Tried both Salifert and RS. Both work the same. Ca: Only tried RS and it works fine and seems accurate and easy to view. I think 8ppm and 18ppm though is a very large difference on nitrate and thats why I ask. Link to comment
