itsyahboydanny
Hey NR! Im looking to move up from my AIO to a sumped system. Just wondering what my best bet at doing this would be. All the complete systems like red sea and cadlights are nice but pricey. Would I be better off building one myself? Any help would be appreciated! I could get a deep blue 28 and stand but no sump for 380 from my LFS.. Link to comment
VW_TDI_02
I would definitely get a drilled tank. I currently have the Eshopps overflow box and I'm not a fan of it at all. My next tank will definitely be drilled. Link to comment

You can make a sump out of a 20 long for pretty cheap. $20 for the tank and $30 or so for the glass. Could probably use a 10 gallon tank and cut it up into baffles in order to save some money. All you need is some silicone and you're good to go. Link to comment
