Looking for suggestions for a cheap 12v DC ATO pump

I need to set up my ATO again!

Previously I just spliced into an A/C powerhead. Worked fine for the 2 years I had it set up but now I'm looking to re-design the system with more fail-safes built in.

I've looked on Amazon/eBay and found a few small DC pumps that look like they would be good for this application, something like this on Amazon. I'm just not super familiar with the world of small DC pumps so it's hard for me to sift through them all at the moment.

Anyways, what I'm looking for is a suggestion for a specific pump that would be good for this application?

Height is about 3.5ft I can use any size tubing, the tank is a 40b with a 30b sump I typically evap +/- 1 gallon per day. Note this is supposed to be a cheap DIY ATO system I already have the float switches and stuff. Not looking to buy a commercial product.

Thanks Matt for the suggestion - I actually really like that...

Since this will be part of an ATO it will probably be running a few times per day - And rather than have a quick flood of freshwater into my sump I think I would rather have a slow add - something more like what this would provide. Being quiet is a plus too.

I'm scouring eBay and other sites for one that's available domestically. I'm hoping to get this set up pretty quick and I'm still a little worried about ordering stuff from china due to the remaining effects of the port strike and such... Basically it would suck to have to wait a month to get it.

I really appreciate the idea though when I find a suitable pump with domestic shipping I'll post a link here.
