whatisit
Just like the title says, would it be too much? Link to comment

jlangtree
Total overkill, I run a Aquamanta HFX100 (HOB with adjustable flow up to 92Gal/350L per hour) on my 2Gal (9L) pico and that is more than enough for a tank that size and I run it on the lowest setting. Dont waste your time and money mate on something like that, they are totally over rated anyhow. Link to comment
whatisit
I am using a ac30 on its lowest setting. I was thinking of getting a mp10 for aesthetic reasons. If it will be too strong then I will stick with what I got. Link to comment
nanolutionary
It will be totally pointless. Link to comment
tibbsy07
Mp10 supposedly pushes 200 to 1575 gallons per hour (lowest to highest setting). A 20x turnover for water is probably the high end of the amount of flow we want in our tanks. On the lowest setting the mp10 is 200 times your water volume.... Way too much flow Link to comment

Maniu
If only for esthetic reason..... then sure. Just don't turn it on. Link to comment
