Yep The first time I went to Disneyland a guy asked me if I was from Canada. I was pretty confused until he said that I had said "eh". I don't even notice it! 3 hours ago, Pjanssen said: Glad to see things are looking better. Me too 1 Quote Link to comment

Thanks If you think those are weird, don't even get me started on our cichlids' names. I almost named my clownfish bitch, that would have been a bit weirder I think. Instead I opted for the more friendly "Queen Bee" (AKA Queen Bitch when she starts biting). Quote Link to comment

fishfreak0114
You know, I'm not sure if I've ever actually watched the little mermaid! Probably when I was younger. Now whenever I happen to watch it (I'd like to soon) I'm going to be thinking of that! 1 Quote Link to comment

fishfreak0114
Today is my Grandpa's 77th birthday so I baked him a cake! This was actually the second attempt. For the first try, I used a cake recipe I hadn't tried before, whole wheat flour because that's what my grandpa bought, and the whole thing fell apart coming out of the pans because they weren't lined with parchment! The second time around I used my favorite chocolate cupcake recipe, and a ton of icing! I had meant to make a two tier cake, but I had enough batter for three, and I had WAY too much icing. Had I used it all, it would have been equal parts cake and icing! cake 2 edited by orb1915, on Flickr cake edited by orb1915, on Flickr 3 Quote Link to comment

fishfreak0114
I got home this afternoon and went straight to the reef like normal. And what did I see? HAPPY CORALS!!!!!! I mean, as happy as corals can be a week after being electrocuted. Lots of improvements! I cleaned the front glass quickly (AKA not very well) with a razor so I could grab some pics. Any pictures taken from the sides are really bad, but that's alright. At least one bailed out though P8270837 by orb1915, on Flickr That ultima blasto and frosty berry look really good. I'm very happy that those two and the green are doing pretty well, because those 3 are my favorites P8270839 by orb1915, on Flickr Are the heads pooping in unison or is it expelling zooxanthellae? Usually I wouldn't worry about it, but after recent events I might be a little paranoid. Fingers crossed they make a come back! I'm going to start feeding frozen to the least-healthy corals soon. I held off last week because I was concerned about ammonia. My fish will be happy to be fed frozen again, I've only given them flake two or three times since last Sunday. P8270847 by orb1915, on Flickr P8270848 by orb1915, on Flickr I'm not sure what happened to this red coralline. Perhaps it was the electricity?
