I've decided to house my Zoa's and Acans seperately from my Sps so that being said, would 1 T5HO bulb do any justice hung relative close to the surface ( I have a older single bulb fixture laying around) do them any justice or should I opt for 2 bulbs ?

You want at least two bulbs just for bulb combinations. There won't be any one bulb that will look good over a reef tank without being either too blue, or too white.

That's kinda what I was thinking. But I was also thinking of doing just one blue+. It's not a bad looking bulb. That's one bulb I actually like the color of and a stand alone bulb.

You sure you're thinking of the Blue Plus being good standalone? This is what it looks like.

I do lol. I have 2 B+ 1 C+ and one actinic and it's barley too blue, surpringly lol. I have my 2 B+ on the same ballast and with just them on,it's not bad.

I think coral plus looks good by itself. :)

I did a first, but once it got burnt in I wasnt a huge fan of it.

If it works for you, great. :)

As long as it promotes growth still,I'm alright with it lol. Whatever works right ?
