justinreefs
Just wanted to see if anyone has experience with this light regarding my concern. Any comments would be much appreciated. I am looking to purchase the XR15 for my IM 30L (35.4" Length). I know the spec calls out 24" spread, but after doing the calcs with the RMS mount it seems to just about do it. Or by potentially raising the fixture another 1.5" should ensure the entire length. Tank Height - 13" Fixture Height from Tank on RMS - 9" Tank Length - 36" Light spread- 120 deg Thanks. StrainedSky
You will either need two or one xr30 with wide angle lenses. Link to comment

jnelson
Sorry for hijacking this topic. Anyone know if the XR15 with the RMS tank mount would be enough for a 24x24 (Deep Blue shallow cube)? Only keeping softies and easy LPS so don't need too much coverage at the very edges. Link to comment

nanolutionary
...They come preinstalled with the 120 degree lenses... Mine came with 120 degree lenses but they weren't preinstalled I had to take out the installed ones and place the 120's in there FYI. Maybe it's just to the UK? Link to comment
