hairoids
I have a BC29 that is finishing its cycle. I do not plan on keeping fish in the tank only coral, crabs, and shrimp, so not a big bio load. I have a 9002 skimmer with Stevie's upgraded collection cap. Do I need to skim? Thanks in advance, Harry Link to comment
LongDoggy
... that is the question. Well, since you have no real bio load, probably not. But since you have a nice skimmer already I don't see there being an issue. Plus if your keeping SPS, maintaining low nutrients in the water would be best. If you are keeping some corals which like nutrients then maybe go sans skimmer. But my whole school of thought is skim if you want. Just not too hard if your running a nano. Link to comment
