Just wondering what everyone has for a R.O. system. I need a new one. I did have a Kent barebones unit but It's hard to find filters for it. Think I am ready for a better one. Thanks everyone!

I got mine a few years back from "the filter guys" (they're a sponsor here) and it's been a pretty good unit.. but to be honest, the units are all pretty much the same (the actual filters/membrane is what's important).. get the right number of stages for your application and buy from a decent retailer and you should be fine.

Research your purchase and you will find none of the others suggested even comes close to the Spectrapure. Most notably none specially treats their RO membranes guaranteed to improve their performance and then subjects them to batch or individual had testing. This means you get a 98 or 99% rejection rate membrane versus a dry untreated and untested membrane that is 96%-97% on average but really you get what you get. For every 2% you increase that rejection rate you double the life of your DI resin saving you a bunch of money over time. They are also the only vendor to custom blend every ounce of their own DI resins so they are the freshest longest lasting resins available and will get you a true 0 TDS, 18.2 megaohm resistivity pure water. Add in other things like a capillary tube flow restrictor you the end user can trim yourself based on your exact water conditions and an inline pressure gauge even on their basic systems they just don't come any better.
