phaze5
Moving from a 29 gal bio cube (again) to a 40br (again) Bio cube is drilled and has a sump, leds, rkl, mp20, etc... 40BR will the intermediate til we get a house and allow me to have a much larger tank. Display will be a 40BR and the sump will be a 40 gal breeder. lighting will be HO-T5 (36" fixture with 6 bulbs, all packed up so I cant quite remember) I might add some leds after the fact but I need to see if the fixture will be enough mp20, rkl will be following from the bc29 plumbing is where I am having some hesitation, I'm doing (2) 1.5" bulk heads for the main part of the durso drains and (2) 1" for the other part. As for now I am almost done with the stand http://s277.photobucket.com/user/phaze5div5/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141011_101714_zps9n0f7ouu.jpg.html'> http://s277.photobucket.com/user/phaze5div5/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141231_164823_zpsikjqom5z.jpg.html'> http://s277.photobucket.com/user/phaze5div5/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141231_164829_zps3illxzns.jpg.html'> http://s277.photobucket.com/user/phaze5div5/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141231_164837_zpsssmcccyv.jpg.html'> http://s277.photobucket.com/user/phaze5div5/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141231_175721_zpsu9ndoy8m.jpg.html'> http://s277.photobucket.com/user/phaze5div5/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150101_233801_zpshn0tqhqe.jpg.html'> Holy crappy pictures,batman.... blah Link to comment

I was going to use the pump on the bc29 but I am going to be selling it.skimmer sca-303 (rated for 150 gallons, so I should be ok)and return pump is a rio 2500 hd (rated for 798gph at 0 head) Link to comment
phaze5
Checking the fitment of the equipment... so far so goodOrdered these off amazon and i thought the total output for 2 was 1250 gph (so 625 each) I was wrong both are 1250 each and they are huge ( I have to order xxl gloves for snowboarding) Ordered a bean animal style overflow rated for 1600gph should be good to go.... just a waiting game now Link to comment
phaze5
well got the baffles installed on the sump today... hoping to get the overflow drilled and tank plumbed up before next week Link to comment
phaze5
Skimmer and pump both fit in the sump with no issues... light needs frame mounts but I have had this thing for about 3 years and never used it once.... I knew it would come in handy. Just waiting on overflow to get here, then plumbing can be done with and then the tile for the top. As for paneling I am going to reclaim pallet wood and use that as doors. Every side of the cabinet will be able to come off. Link to comment
phaze5
Just drilled the tank and cut the tile for the top.... note to self when using an angle grinder use ear protection and open a window in the basement. Smoked out the basement and i can no longer hear weeeeeeeeepics to follow tonight Link to comment
