reeftankd
Let me start by saying I have a 24gallon Fluval M-60 which is 24in long and the display portion is approx 12in wide. I want a controllable led light that will allow me to grow anything I want including sps if I choose to do so in the future. I like the look of the Kessil lights and have been debating if the a160w tuna blue would be enough or if I should go with the a360w. I am also open to other light suggestions. Let me know what you think. Link to comment
TimberC
I just bough the kessil 160w for my 14 gallon. The kessil looks awesome and so far my anemones and corals love the fixture. Have you though about buying fixture from Nanobox? They are pretty good and not badly priced. I personally didn't get one because I live in Canada and I prefer to buy locally in case something goes wrong with the fixture. Good luck, I know how stressful and difficult it can be to choose the right fixture. Link to comment
Eisernes
I have a a160w and I don't think I would try to cover 24" with it. I'd check out a nanobox for that. Link to comment
reeftankd
So... These nano boxes are unfamiliar territory for me. I checked out the website but from my phone there isn't many options. I will look closer when I get home. For those of you recommending this option, which nanobox would you choose for my tank? Link to comment
zooman72
A NanoBox Duo would work quite well for that tank... Link to comment
Eisernes
A NanoBox Duo would work quite well for that tank... I second that. You would need 2 160's so for that price I would get a duo. I will look better. As for hanging or gooseneck that is personal preference. I don't like goosenecks. Link to comment
reeftankd
Is it possible to control a nanobox with a reefkeeper or apex? Link to comment
Horerczy
Is it possible to control a nanobox with a reefkeeper or apex? not without some form of 0-10v analog to 5v pwm conversion. Link to comment
TimberC
Get in touch with Dave from Nanobox. I am sure he would be able to answer all your questions better than any of us. Nanobox is one of the sponsors here. http://www.nano-reef.com/forum/169-nano-box-reef/ Link to comment
