Marineland Contour 5 Gallon, Led Upgrade Question

I recently set up a Marineland Contour 5 gallon. I am awaiting the arrival of the light pictured above. I am wondering how far above the tank I would need to place the light. I'm a little worried that it may be a little too powerful, but I'm not really sure. I am planning on keeping all zoa''s.

Here is a current tank shot so you can get a better idea of the layout. I was hoping to lay the light directly on the top. If the heat impacts the tank to much I can build some contraption to get the light up off the tank if needed.
