aesp533262
Should I use it to start a tank off? I recently started a 50gal cube and added sand water and rock. I have a bottle of stability but unsure if i should use it. Should I just let it cycle with a pc of shrimp instead? will stability hurt anything? Use both methods? Your input is greatly appreciated. MrNanoReef
I use that for a few days and ammonia level stays the same until I used this, im 99.9% cure this work. I have a 12g tank and dose two full cap every day until level goes down to 0, then the cycle takes its course. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=18390 Link to comment
Daveluce
I've used stability on 2 tanks so far with great results. Both times I used dry rock seeded with a few pieces of live. The first tank cycled in a week, but I didn't trust it so I waited an extra 2 weeks. I would dose 2 ppm of ammonia and it would be gone in 24 hours. Link to comment
moores38
I've used it before and it worked great! I'd also add in a pellet of fish food too. Tank cycled in a week or so! Link to comment
holdorf333
or just let the tank cycle. toss it, imo. Link to comment
Mariaface
I love Stability. You might want to get ammonium chloride to add to the tank (food for the bacteria so they don't starve before they become useful), but the shrimp should break down and provide some. Well, it'll also provide phosphates and other algae fuel, but it'll definitely help you with your cycle. :] Link to comment
