Nano cube 28...as a sump?!

So basically im thinking of using a lifereef hang on back over flow from my 40B to my old nano cube and putting the skimmer heater etc etc in the dumped cube. Anyone have thoughts on this or ideas?

I was thinking this thanks Stevie I almost hit you up for my aio breeder to see about a custom filter basket. Loved mine in my cube. So efficient and pretty

The curved glass of the NC28 can break without water in it.

 

I had to take the cracked one apart, to put it trash, I will tell you that removing that false wall is not worth the work involved.

 

Put the NC28 in a dumpster, get an AGA 29 for your sump.

Sell it and buy a "normal" tank. Less risk, it will look better and you can sell the cube for more than the cost of the new tank.

Sounds like a PITA honestly. Go with a cheap 10-20 petsmart tank and DIY baffles.

I would use the NanoCube as a QT tank, I think you would get more bang for your buck that way. QT is the way to prevent a lot of headaches in a DT.
