bravoreefer
I noticed a few lil bubbles of algea in my MB7. What is that best way for removing bubble algea? Link to comment
schaferfred
Suck them out with that turkey baster....lol.. seriously though, knock them loose with the baster without popping them then suck them up. Link to comment
Sushi
i just carefully dislodge them w/my fingers and pick it out... ... just don't pop it !!! Link to comment
tinyreef
pop 'em like zits. :x no, don't. i'm jk. rock them back and forth to loosen them up and then pull them out. manually or with tongs/hemostats (my fav). if you do pop them, pull it out quickly anyways. all you can hope for is really to limit their presence rather than completely eradicating them ime. even with the occasional emerald that eats them. butterflys are better but not exactly coral-friendly. hth Link to comment
Deleted User 8530
I would suggest Emrald Crabs! They suck out the Bad Insides then eat the bubble part Link to comment
bravoreefer
Thanx for all the replies people. Ill try that when I get back on my lunch break. Thanks again. The emerald crab idea is good, but my buddy also had one of those crabs kill his perc clown; so I'll just try picking them out by hand. Link to comment
impur
My emerald crab didn't touch the stuff. Also tried to kill my watchman goby. Manual removal got it all for me. Link to comment

bravoreefer
Emerald crabs are very different from crab to crab. Some are helpers, others are cold blooded killers. I think I'll manually do it and save time and pain of chances with a crab. Link to comment
