farkwar
Ben, The lux meters can be filtered. There are few online tutorials turning $16 Chinese lux meters into crude semi accurate IR meters with IR(pass) filters. For IR photography. I haven't seen side by side comparison studies, to form a useful opinion. But it is plausible that one can be filtered to give usable numbers. Since we already know that even reputable PAR meters are poor to bad at metering royal blue through violet; wavelengths that we are very interested in and concerned with,,, why not. I do think that the apogee sensor and multimeter is a better way to go, for on the cheap. But for someone who wants to know what the ammonia level in their tank, all the time, is too, maybe the Seneye is for them(/sarcasm off). I use my eyes and experience, and bracket, for IR photography myself. That works well for me. Exception, the Rollei 6008i internal meter is right on with -8 EV compensation, so I do use that without bracketing. Quote Link to comment

hypostatic
I think the fact that it's dead and it's still pretty colorful says a lot. I think the article said they pulled it out of the mouth of another fish at a market lol 2 Quote Link to comment
